How is your District encouraging peace and development leaders to promote peace in the world? Have you sponsored an applicant for a Peace Fellowship? Applications for the 2024 Rotary Peace Fellowships are now available.
Each year, Rotary selects 50 peace fellows to study in our master’s degree programs and 40 fellows to earn a professional development certificate. These Peace Fellows can then use that training to partner with your clubs and districts on peacebuilding initiatives before, during, and after their fellowships.
Applications are due on May 15th, but here are four action steps you can take today:
- Download and forward the fellowship announcement to those in your District, especially local universities;
- Take the Rotary Peace Fellowship course in Rotary’s Learning Center;
- Refer a good fellowship candidate to The Rotary Foundation for consideration and followup;
- Present or adapt a PowerPoint presentation on Peace Fellowships at your next District event.
Once you’ve identified suitable candidates, submit an application.
