Greg Yank Announcement

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Zones 30 & 31 Past Rotary International Director Greg Yank on January 5, 2021. Greg served as District 6510 Governor in 2001-2002 and again in 2010-2011. As RI Director, Greg served from 2017-2019.

Greg was a friend and mentor to many Rotarians around the world and will be missed deeply. His legacy will live on in the lives that he touched as a true Rotarian and Servant Leader.

Greg is survived by his wife, Past District Governor Catherine Taylor Yank and three children and three grandchildren.

A celebration of life will occur at a future date when it is safe for us all.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am Central Time Friday, January 15, 2021
at St. Nicholas Catholic Church,  O'Fallon, Illinois with Msgr. William J. Hitpas presiding.

Due to COVID restrictions and out of respect for the family's wishes please, the funeral mass is reserved for local residents only. To allow for friends around the world to be present, the Mass can be viewed at the church YouTube channel at the following link.
