What’s a Project Fair?

Even if you know the answer, there are probably lots of members in your clubs and districts who don’t. There’s a good chance many clubs would like to increase their participation in International Service, but can’t sponsor a project on their own.  They can find inspiration, ideas, and project partners at a project fair. Through immersion, hospitality, and collaboration, they’ll also experience the internationality of Rotary, something sorely lacking in many of our clubs.

These events connect clubs and districts to the work of Rotarians and Rotaractors in other countries and allow them to forge meaningful service collaborations that can evolve into lifelong friendships. Project fairs typically last two to three days, offer immersive cultural experiences, and may include hands-on service activities or visits to project sites to help attendees understand local priorities. Some are in-person, live events, others are only online virtual events, and many are both.
