If you’re not a regular reader of Rotary Voices, R.I.’s blog, you may have missed this post by Tom Gump, aide to 2024-25 RI President Stephanie Urchick. In his post, he applies the model for the Simply Irresistible Organization to our clubs through each of the models’ five elements:
- meaningful work: give our members purposeful opportunities, changed up regularly so they don’t get bored doing the same thing;
- supportive management: invest in your leaders through various learning opportunities;
- a positive work environment: let members create and select service opportunities with like-minded people with the same values;
- growth opportunity: foster self-improvement through serving others; and
- trust in leadership: grow strong, purpose-driven and inspiring leaders to have strong clubs and a strong Rotary.
