As membership remains a top focus for our clubs and districts, we may be overlooking a prime source of prospective members. Each year,:

• Many members of our Rotaract clubs move on due to relocation, job changes, etc
• Global Grant scholars return home after Foundation-funded studies abroad
• Students who studied overseas under our Ambassadorial Scholars or Youth Exchange programs move into our towns
• Former RYLA participants and Interactors move to new locations where we have clubs

Rotary and Rotaract clubs and Rotary districts around the world are encouraged to create opportunities for all program alumni to rediscover Rotary during Reconnect Week, October 7th – 13th. Having benefitted from our programs, Rotary alumni are leaders and innovators who are eager to give back to their communities. Plan special alumni events, invite alumni to participate in service projects, or ask them to attend club meetings or other Rotary events. If you have questions, write to alumni@rotary.org.
