Ens veiem a Barcelona (See you in Barcelona)

The Board of Directors for Rotary International has tentatively selected Barcelona, Spain as the host city for our 2029 International Convention. It will run from June 2nd through 6th at the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center, offering state-of-the-art facilities, including conference rooms, auditoriums, and expansive exhibition halls. Our convention was last held in Barcelona in 2002, drawing over 16,800 registered participants from around the world. This time, up to 20,000 are expected, from over 140 countries around the world.

General sessions, plenary sessions, workshops, exhibitions of projects, and cultural and networking events seldom fill the entire day, leaving time for sightseeing. From the recently-completed towers of the Basilica de Sagrada Família to the remarkable Park Güell, there’s plenty to see in your free time. And of course, being a coastal city, there are numerous new and familiar foods to try.

If all you’ve experienced from Rotary is your club meetings and maybe a district or zone event, you haven’t really seen Rotary INTERNATIONAL. Find out what’s going on elsewhere and just how much bigger it is than your club and its service projects.
You’ll come home with friends from around the world and memories that will last a lifetime.
Rotary International has announced that upcoming conventions are tentatively scheduled for:
2026 Taipei, Taiwan (the convention was there in 1994)
  2027 Dubai
