If you were with us in Singapore, or have attended an International Convention in the past, you know just how motivating and inspiring attendance at one of these events can be. It isn’t too soon to start generating interest in our next gathering, June 21st to 25th in Calgary, Canada. Being “next door” in our neighbor to the North, travel costs will be among the lowest we can expect in the near future, there are no language challenges, and no culture shock to worry about. Here are ideas to assure our Zones are well-represented next year:

• Have Rotarians who’ve attended past conventions speak at your district events and make presentations to clubs’ meetings;
• Start sharing the convention website (https://convention.rotary.org) in your district and club newsletters, websites, and social media sites;
• Download the convention promotional materials and use them to promote registration and attendance;
• Show the convention’s promotional video at district events and post it to your social media pages.
