Following the resignation of RI President-elect SangKoo Yun, Rotary’s Board, following the R.I. code of policies conducted a special session to select Olayinka Hakeem Babalola, a member of the Rotary Club of Trans Amadi, Nigeria, as 2026-27 R.I. President. He joined Rotaract in 1988, then in 1994 became a Rotarian. In 2011-12 he served as district governor before becoming a member of the R.I. Board and then R.I. Vice President. He supports The Rotary Foundation with a named endowment and as an Arch Klumph Society member.
