Vocational Service

While it is easy for most Rotarians to understand how to deliver service in their club or community, or even internationally or to younger people, sometimes they struggle to implement Vocational Service. Rotary has just released an updated publication,Vocational Service in Action, to help them. It can help individual members by:

  • Defining Vocational Service;
  • Explaining its importance in upholding ethical standards in our professions and personal lives
  • Offering project ideas for mentoring, skills training, and ethical-business initiatives
  • Including inspiring real-world examples of members applying their professional expertise to serve communities
  • Showing how Vocational Service supports Rotary’s Action Plan by increasing our impact, expanding our reach, enhancing participant experience, and increasing our adaptability.

This would be a great item to mention in a Rotary Minute in your club, or at your next District meeting.
