In December of 2021, an EF4 tornado moved across District 6710 of Western Kentucky, producing severe to catastrophic damage in numerous towns there. On Memorial Day this year, thunderstorms and a powerful tornado tore through the same areas previously hit. Many there had just returned to their restored homes and were just getting settled from the previous devastation. The District has put out a call for donations to help survivors recover from this latest disaster.
