A small annual project started in 2007 by Lee’s Summit Sunrise Rotary Club (D6040 MO) to support a single charity, has grown over ten-fold to raise as much as $220,000. “Empty Bowls/Feed Lee’s Summit” now involves all three of the city’s Rotary clubs and benefits five local non-profits.
