SangKoo Yun, a consummate Rotary leader and businessman who had been selected to be Rotary International’s president for 2026-27 has died on September 5th at the age of 75. This sad announcement came mere weeks after stepping down as President-Elect and after months of treatment for pancreatic cancer. SangKoo was a dedicated Rotarian and businessman who lived a life of kindness and commitment. He served as a director, trustee, and chair of several committees, as well as leading international service projects around the globe.
