Of the over 530 Rotary districts in the world, only 66 (12%) were recently recognized for exceptional grant reporting during the 2024-25 Rotary year. Grant reporting is crucial because failing to report on time can result in disqualification from receiving future grants, and it is a mandatory requirement to ensure responsible use of funds, accountability to donors, and the successful demonstration of the grant’s impact. Accurate and timely reports, including detailed financial records and evidence of project outcomes, are essential for maintaining a club’s qualification to receive funding and for upholding the integrity of The Rotary Foundation.
To qualify for recognition, each district and each of its clubs had to:
- achieve at least 90% compliance with grant reporting requirements in each quarterly analysis performed by the general secretary
- have more than one open grant in each quarterly analysis
- be 100% compliant with grant reporting requirements for district grants in each quarterly analysis
- could not be suspended from participation in Rotary grants at any point during the year
- not have any outstanding stewardship requirements at the end of the Rotary year
Of the 31 districts in our zones, those four receiving this recognition were:
- 6200
- 6760
- 6780
- 6800
CONGRATULATIONS!
