If you have unused District Designated Funds for the 2022-23 Rotary year, consider donating some or all of them to the Global Peacebuilder District program. This program offers your district more flexibility in how you can engage in Rotary’s peacebuilding programs and fulfil your goals of creating positive change. Districts that contribute $25,000 a year (in DDF or district cash) to the Rotary Peace Centers or the Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention area of focus are recognized as Global Peacebuilder Districts.

Whether your district chooses to direct your DDF to the Rotary Peace Centers or to the Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention area of focus, this program recognized all contributions. Contributions can go to the Endowment or be made available for immediate use. These contributions go beyond addressing the immediate needs of people and reflect your district’s commitment to a longer-term strategy of creating environments where peace can flourish. You can help to build a powerful network of peacebuilders, foster understanding, and help communities develop the skills to resolve conflicts.
