Deadlines are fast approaching for two of Rotary’s Service Awards:
Citation for Meritorious ServiceThe Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorius Service honors Rotarians and Rotaractors who demonstrate their commitment to helping others through service to The Rotary Foundation. Rotary Foundation chairs may nominate one candidate from their districts to receive this award in the 2023-2024 Rotary year by completing the online nomination form by December 31st and securing the District Governor’s endorsement. If you know any members who you think would qualify, contact their district Rotary Foundation chair, and encourage the chair to recognize them with a nomination.Distinguished Service Award The Rotary Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award honors Rotarians and Rotaractors who have demonstrated exemplary service to the Foundation and have received the Citation for Meritorious Service at least four years prior. A Rotarian or Rotaractor may nominate a candidate from their district to receive this award in the 2023-24 Rotary year by submitting the online nomination form from January 2nd to February 29th. Nominations must be endorsed by the current governor of the nominee’s district. The nominee must also be endorsed by a Rotarian or Rotaractor outside the nominee’s district. District governors can endorse only one nomination for their district.
