Rotary Clubs in Baja, Mexico and Springfield, Illinois recently partnered to donate over 100,000 ready-to-eat meals. The meals were distributed in Arizona, Illinois and overseas, including 30,000 meals for shelters and food pantries in Illinois and 23,000 meals shipped to Turkey and Ukraine. The project arose when a Rotarian who heads a volunteer network in Baja, Mexico visited the Springfield club and connected with club leadership there.
