When Rotary was founded over 100 years ago, it pioneered a new model of service leadership grounded in person-to-person connections. Now, our connections form a network that spans the globe—bridging cultural, linguistic, generational, and geographic barriers—and share the vision of a better world.

Rotary’s Action Plan has been updated to reflect major initiatives through 2024. It has four major components:

• to increase our impact by making evidence-based decisions;
• expand our reach by being inclusive, engaging, compassionate and ambitious;
• enhance participant engagement by creating relationships across time and distance; and
• increase our ability to adapt by seeking new perspectives and ideas to strengthen Rotary and create lasting change.
