Serving on a Rotary International Committee

Rotary International has a number of committees, all working to promote the priorities and goals of our strategic plan. The Rotary International president makes appointments to these committees to help clubs and districts perform efficiently. Some committees are joint committees of both Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation. Positions are open on several of these committees:

  • 2024 Singapore Convention;
  • 2025 Calgary Convention;
  • Constitution and Bylaws;
  • Districting;
  • Election Review;
  • Finance;
  • Membership Growth;
  • Programs;
  • Audit (of which R.I. Director-Elect Beth Stubbs is currently a member);
  • Communications;
  • Learning;
  • Operations Review (of which R.I. Director Elizabeth Usovicz is currently a member);
  • Strategic Planning; and
  • Technology (currently chaired by our own Brian Hall from the Rotary Club of Covington, Louisiana).

If you’d like to be considered for appointment to one of these committees, or nominate another Rotarian to do so, fill out the online application by August 15th. Be prepared to provide:

  • the name of the area of expertise in which you are applying or nominating someone;
  • confirmation that you/your nominee meet the prerequisites for the committee;
  • your/your nominee’s Rotary or Rotaract club name;
  • your/your nominee’s Rotary district number;
  • your/your nominee’s qualifications to serve, including short summaries of relevant professional experience;
  • If your/your nominee’s social media accounts contain relevant information, links to your profile page(s) on those accounts;
  • a short statement (100 words or less) on what you would hope you/your nominee would contribute or accomplish in the area of expertise to which you are applying/nominating.
