District Governors-Elect and District Foundation Committees should be finishing up their spending plans for the 2023-24 district grants. Applications are already available now in the Grant Center. Only future expenses can be included, not activities that have already happened or that will happen before approval of the grant. Club presidents-elect are already planning their projects and the sooner in the new year they receive their district grants, the more time they will have to implement and complete them. Getting your application in early will get the funding to you (and them) sooner. Getting your district grant soon after July 1st will let your clubs use those funds for activities throughout the Rotary year. Once approved, funds will available after July 1st.
If your district is having trouble managing its district grant timeline, contact your regional grants officer for help. Note: the May 15th due date for 2022-23 district grant reporting is approaching fast.
