What Do Members Want? Just Ask Them!

As we start our new Rotary year, we are reminded that engaged members lead to vibrant clubs. When their needs are met, members are more likely to be engaged, and the best way to understand your members’ needs is to ask about them. Rotary has released new surveys of member interest and satisfaction to help you gather the information that will help improve the experience of your club members.

The surveys are in an editable online format, to make it easy for you to customize questions for your members. Check out the guides below. After your members complete surveys, you can see the results online. Once you have the results, assess your members’ feedback and make improvements to your club’s experience. (These can also be adapted for use to survey members in a District to see how we can better support them.)

Creating Your Online Member Interest Survey — Customize a survey for new and prospective members so you can help them find experiences they’ll enjoy. This would be an excellent tool for prospective members, to assure they get what they’re seeking.

Creating Your Online Member Satisfaction Survey — Customize a survey for current members so you can learn how they feel about their experience in your club. The easiest way to maintain your membership is to retain the ones you already have.
