Originally started by the Franklin Noon Rotary club (D6760), all three Franklin, TN clubs (Breakfast, Noon and Downtown) now participate in “Pedal for Polio“, a World Polio Day fundraiser. Last year, the event raised over $6,000 for the fight against polio, and the Gates Foundation 2 for 1 match raised that total to over $20,000.

Recognized on October 24th, World Polio Day is a time for Rotary members, public health advocates, and all who want a world free from polio to come together, recognize our progress in the fight to end polio, and talk about the actions we need to take in order to end polio for good.
