In another nod to the engagement of clubs in our Zones, The Rotary Club of Starkville, MS (D6820) got a great two-page write up in October’s Rotary magazine, featuring its major fundraiser, the Classic Rodeo. Held annually for the past 18 years, the February event attracts 6,000 attendees, with over 100 of the club’s 167 members volunteering. After deducting costs for the livestock needed, the club clears around $40,000 from admissions and concessions.
