Today is Earth Day, with a theme of “Our Power, Our Planet” focusing on mobilizing collective action, clean energy, and civic engagement, with over 10,000 events globally, including city-wide, car-free events and community cleanups.

Protecting our environment is one of Rotary’s Areas of Focus. Our clubs support activities that conserve and protect natural resources and build ecological sustainability. This work also helps advance Rotary’s other causes, including promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and sanitation, and growing local economies.
