Poliovirus cases and positive environmental isolates reported this week:
- Afghanistan: There have been three WPV1 cases this year and there were 21 in 2025. The most recent case was on February 17, 2026.
- Democratic Republic of the Congo: No cVDPV1 cases and three cVDPV2 cases
- Ethiopia: Four cVDPV1 cases, no cVDPV2 cases, and no cVDPV2-positive environmental samples
- Nigeria: Six cVDPV2 cases, no cVDPV2-positive environmental samples, and no cVDPV3 cases
- Pakistan: No WPV1 cases and nine WPV1-positive environmental samples. There have been three WPV1 cases this year and there were 31 in 2025. The most recent case was on February 10, 2026
- Sudan: One cVDPV2 case, no cVDPV2-positive environmental samples, and no cVDPV3 cases
