Updated Area of Focus Guidelines for Global Grant Funding

The Rotary Foundation has updated the guidelines for global grant funding in each of our seven areas of focus. These are valuable tools as your District Rotary Foundation Chairpersons submit applications for global grants in:
  Peacebuilding and conflict prevention
  Disease prevention and treatment
  Water, sanitation, and hygiene
  Maternal and child health
  Basic education and literacy
  Community economic development
  Environment
Each document includes information specific to that area of focus about the Foundation’s goals, community assessments, sustainability, what kinds of projects are eligible for funding, monitoring and evaluation, scholarships, and other resources. Clubs and districts are encouraged to fully understand all the guidelines before applying for a grant.

The Global Grants Community Assessment Results form has also been updated to include questions that apply to all environment projects and to water, sanitation, and hygiene projects.

Please share these resources with your clubs and encourage them to seek any needed clarification by contacting: rotarysupportcenter@rotary.org.
